Russ Harley Memorial 5 K run /walk
In memory of Russell Harley, we will be having a 5k walk/run to
raise money to fight pancreatic cancer.
Two years ago, Russ passed away from pancreatic cancer.
Pancreatic cancer has the highest mortality rate of all major
cancers – less than 5% of those diagnosed survive more than
five years. Seventy-six percent of patients will die within the
first year of diagnosis. With your help, we can improve the
chance of survival.
The event will be on Saturday, August 14, 2010, at Fabyan
Forest Preserve on Rt. 25 North of Fabyan Parkway, Geneva, IL
60134 (meet at shelter #3) at 8:30 a.m. Please arrive by 8:00 a.
m. to sign in. There will be a $5.00 donation for the walk. Any
additional donations you would like to make will be greatly
appreciated.
If you are unable to participate in the walk and would still like
to make a donation, please make checks payable to The
Lustgarten Foundation. The foundation’s goal is to advance the
scientific and medical research related to the diagnosis,
treatment, cure, and prevention of pancreatic cancer.
Additional information can be found at www.lustgarten.org.
Checks can be mailed to Robin Harley at 41W500 Route 38,
Elburn, IL 60119.
If you have any questions about the walk, please call Robin at

Thank you for your support. Robin Harley and Family
